We recently purchased two high-end gas fire pits from www.premiumfirepits.com. If your seriously looking for a good quality gas fire pit keep reading because we couldn’t be more please with our purchases.
After shopping around we found www.premiumfirepits.com to have the best selection and prices for the type of high quality gas fire pits my partner and I were after for our backyard patios.
Here are the gas fire pits that we chose:
This premium gas fire pit is available for both natural gas and propane options. When building my new patio, I had a gas line run in the concrete to the location for the gas fire pit for simple natural gas hook up.The finish on the fire pit is fantastic, I could be happier with how it looks. The fire pit came

with lava rock for placing on the burner. The variable control and automatic ignition makes lighting and controlling the flame an absolute breeze. The flame looks completely natural and with up to 100,000 BTUs, it gives off all the heat you need to keep warm on a cold evening. Overall the outdoor gas fire pit makes a great centerpiece for my new outdoor space.
Another great option available for the do-it-yourself type is that they also sell the bare frames. Not only do you save money, but this will allow you to finish with the materials of your choice. I’m not a handyman, so I elected to buy one of the finished models.

My partner has a more modern space and elected for the Desert Canyon 24 in Propane Fire Pit with the slate finish. After enjoying a few adult beverages around this gas fire pit with my partner on Saturday, I’m equally impressed with the quality craftsmanship of this fire pit. The flame was also impressive as the ceramic log set that is included with the fire pit gives the flame a great natural shape and beauty. The propane option gives my partner the flexibility to move the gas fire pit anywhere in his outdoor space. For the price, I must say this is a great buy!

Yes, fires can be accented to make outdoor living more fun and entertaining. It is what you call playing with fire in the literal meaning of it. Fire accents can set different moods to the al fresco.
You can choose an accent that gives tall or stout flames, mono-colored or rainbow colored flames. You can set any mood you want to have on the patio or the yard – romantic, energetic, playful, classic or futuristic. These accents are actually used in indoor fireplaces which are also gas fired.
But most importantly, a fire accent does more than just entertaining and creating fun. These are actually additional safety precautions. Natural stones, particularly the river stones are not advisable to use on the gas fire pit. The moisture contained inside the stone can build up into steam when heated. The heated stone will explode when it needs to release the built pressure of the steam.
Fire accents can be gas logs or tempered fire glass. Gas logs are made of high heat resistant ceramics. It also has metal structure that makes the form of the log. The metal also withstands high heat. Gas logs are formed to imitate real wood fire logs. So this is perfect in creating a classic or old-fashioned effect on the fireplace or the outdoor fire pit. Gas logs are either vented or ventless. Vented logs offer the most natural look of firewood for its tall flames. This is not practical to use in outdoor fireplaces, though, since it can burn a lot of fuel. The ventless gas log, on the other hand, is the exact opposite. It is cost-efficient so they are perfect for outdoor fire pits but the flames are somewhat smaller.
The tempered fire glass is perhaps the best accent to use especially on indoor fireplaces, patio gas fire pits, and outdoor fire pits that are not used for cooking. This type of fire accent comes in different colors and sizes. And owing to the reflective property of the glass, it can increase the fuel’s energy up to 3-4 times notch higher. Also, the color of the glass gets reflected on the flames, creating a more fun and entertaining centerpiece in any of your indoor or outdoor living spaces. Tempered fire glass can be mixed with the gas logs to maximize the fire pits efficiency and aesthetics at the same time.
You have already started decorating your al fresco spaces so why not make the most out of it? Refer to your manufacturers for installation of these additional fire accents.
